This policy describes how Hawklynx LLC ("we") handles information for StandUSAct (standusact.org) and the related application.
1. What we collect
- Account & contact data you choose to provide (name, email, organization) when accounts/billing go live.
- Local/app data such as chapter drafts, training progress, and encrypted volunteer vault material stored on your device or machine-local mirror - depending on how you run the app.
- Technical logs typical of hosting (IP, user agent) if the site is served from a host such as Vercel.
2. Volunteer & sensitive data
Volunteer vault features are designed so passphrases are not stored in plaintext and mirrors hold ciphertext. You are responsible for passphrase custody and for lawful collection/use of personal data (including consent for messaging).
3. How we use information
To provide the service, improve reliability, communicate about the product, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
4. Sharing
We may use processors (hosting, email, future payment providers). Payment provider is pending and will be disclosed when selected. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. Retention & deletion
Local vault tools include delete/export controls. California residents and others may request access or deletion of personal data we hold by contacting us (see Contact).
6. Children
StandUSAct is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit children's personal information.
